Phew! That title is quite a mouthful, but I wanted to capture all the benefits of this brilliant DIY project. It really is a free standing vertical herb garden made from a free wood pallet. It’s easy to make, and makes sense! Traditional ground gardens take up quite a bit of real estate in your yard. Some of us have very little of that to spare and very few flat surfaces to place individual pots. Others do not want to place potting directly onto existing fences – especially if you don’t get alone with your neighbours 😉
This is where a movable, free standing garden is a brilliant idea. Simple add supporting legs to the pallet and you can shift it around your yard, deck or porch whenever and to where ever you wish! Be sure to read through Roeshel’s suggestions on building the supports. She makes a few excellent points. She can be found at the DIYShowOff.com link below!
